In 2003, Maestra Kara's Road Trip / El viaje de Maestra Kara launched to the world at maestrakara.com. The site told the story of a Spanish teacher and her photographer husband - Maestra Kara and Señor Josh - on a road trip across the United States.

Focusing on bilingual education and US history and culture, the site was the product of one student's time as an MFA candidate at the Academy of Art University.

That student, "Señor" Joshua Turton, graduated in 2003 and is now a full-time web developer. He recently founded Señor Josh Interactive, naming the company in honor of that first project.

Focused on producing high-quality programming using the best of the open-source worlds, key competencies include XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, as well as Drupal development, theming and optimization.

Joshua also partners with other web groups, lending his expertise to the creation of a larger whole.
